Sirayna

The Story

Every stone holds a whisper

Necklace beside a Turkish kilim

Sirayna began at a kitchen table in San Jose, California, with a bowl of stones and a memory of my grandmother's tesbih in Anatolia.

Along the old trade routes, merchants carried silk, spice, and stones from the Tigris to the Nile. Every caravan carried stories too. I think of each necklace as one of those stories: a small wish, spoken softly, then made into something you can hold.

Before I begin a piece, I whisper its intention. Then I choose every stone by hand and let the design decide how it is made: some are knotted on silk, others shaped on wire, hung from chain, or strung between small gold spacers. No two are ever the same.

Wear it close. Let it remind you.
